About us
Actuate was founded by former transformation and technology management consultants John Sangha and Irena Barker who met in 2015 while working at Capco in Edinburgh. With over 40 years of combined experience, they have witnessed the increasing rate at which businesses needs to evolve to be successful, and wanted to enable access to talent through a more economic model supporting businesses to achieve their strategic goals.

Meet The Team

John brings over 18 years of experience from top firms like Accenture, AWS, and Capco. Based in the UK, he excels in managing delivery operations and securing top talent.

John has a proven track record in operations, digital transformations, Agile setups, DevOps (CI/CD), and cloud solutions (AWS & Azure). He also managed the professional services portfolio for the Middle East while at AWS.

With expertise in Waterfall and Agile methodologies, budgeting, and team leadership, he effectively coaches teams and manages senior stakeholders. John currently heads sales for Europe for a Bay Area-based cloud tooling company.

Co-Founder - John Sangha

Irena has worked as a management consultant through Capgemini and Capco. More recently she served as Technology & Transformation Director for a Private Equity backed business before moving into Private Equity as an Advisor. Irena continues to support SME business owners through her advisory business. Her experience working with business owners and leaders means that we are at the forefront of understanding the needs and challenges of SMEs. Irena is currently based in London.
